Module 1: How to Approach Heart Failure (18 CME Credits) (PCHF01)


Description
This course contains video recordings of the live lectures from the Postgraduate Course in Heart Failure (PCHF) London 2019-2020. Topics include:
1. Epidemiology of heart failure: incidence and prevalence, risk factors.
2. How to assess HF: clinical signs and symptoms, use of biomarkers, ECG and exercise tests. Comorbidities.
3. Theoretical and practical application of different imaging modalities: Echo, CMR, CT and nuclear techniques.
4. Pathophysiology of HF: interpretation of haemodynamic parameters, pump dysfunction. Management of HF in congenital heart disease.

The successful completion of this module awards 18 CME Credits (ECMEC®s).
